Since 1970, Quercioli has been synonymous with Florentine Opanka, a special footwear construction method that requires high craftsmanship skills. The manufacture of Opanka has ancient roots. The classical version comes from the Balkans but can also be associated with techniques used by Native Americans. However, it is in Florence, with Quercioli, that it is revisited in its unique and distinctive form. Experimentation and curiosity, which have always been our expressive hallmarks, combined with decades of craftsmanship experience, have led us to update iconic handicrafts to this day: Biarritz workmanship for our sneakers, Opanka workmanship, featuring an insert and one-piece sole, for the lace-ups and all other men's and women's models.
